Indiana Pinto Horse Association

 Congratulations

2010 Miss Indiana Pinto Chelysie Vandever

2010 Indiana Pinto Princess Anita Burns

As the 2009 chair of IPtHA Royalty, would like to say thank you and hats off to all the candidates. You were incredible, way to represent the club. I am proud of all of you. Being a member of Indiana Pinto, isn't about winning, points and awards, it about coming together as a club, helping others and paying it forward. A kind word, a helping hand, offering assistance to someone however little or big. I want to take a moment to say, this past Royalty competition was perfect example of "team work". Not only did the Royalty kids come together with their parents but members that were not involved came together, offered their horses to be used in a pinch, offered help and assistance, WOW !!! That's what  IPtHA is all about. I am proud of the teamwork I've experienced and witnessed. It is a true honor to watch the excitement unfold as our youth felt supported as they were given this opportunity, it is a wonderful way to make our club shine. As others see, an observe, how we can come together, it is not only a way to encourage others to join but a way to keep our club strong.

To all the Royalty Girls you all looked and WERE amazing!!! Never forget you all are winners....never forget how important and impactful you are to your peers not only in our club but to the people that surround you in your daily lives. You are an inspiration to others that often question their own ability and strength. We touch lives in so many different ways, often at times we are unaware of. Please remember, never are there ever any losers, to lose is to never attempt, to win is to step out and have faith in yourself, regardless of the outcome!!

Last but not least...

Congratulations to our 2010 Royalty Court..

Miss Indiana Pinto 2010

Chelysie VanDever

Hello, I would like to introduce myself to everyone in the Indiana Pinto Horse Association. My name is Chelysie Van Dever and I am honored to be representing the Association for the 2010 year as your Pinto Queen. I am 21 years old and the youngest child of Michael and Karen VanDever. I am from the Indianapolis area and attended school in Franklin Township. I have been an active member of the Pinto Horse Association for the last four years, and I currently have two Pintos: BF Spirit Lace and GSR Ready for Roses.  Lola (BF Spirit Lace) has competed in all around events and has been top 5 at the Pinto World Show in Hunter Under Saddle and has also many ROM's in all around events. Now at the age of 10, she will hopefully become in foal to "Hubba Hubba Huntin" in February. London (GSR Ready For Roses) is a coming 2 year old, but has already proved herself in the show ring as a winning Longe-liner; in the future we plan on competing her in all around events.

This is definitely going to be a very exciting, yet busy year! I have a eventful schedule with the upcoming Pinto Convention in Tulsa, Ok in March, as well as representing the Pinto Club in the Breed Demo at the Hoosier Horse Fair in April! I hope everyone has a great 2010 show season, and a wonderful year.

                                   Best Wishes,
